I received excellent and encouraging sculling instruction from Coach Laura Riekki who, along with the ORC president and club members made me feel welcome and at ease. My first lessons were inspiring (despite getting thoroughly soaked!) and have prompted me to join the club to be a part of this exhilarating experience. The ORC members exude a spirit of camaraderie and love of a sport that is both about individual performance and group accomplishments.
