Excellent fried clam strips! Super fresh, with a great spiced light batter. Perfect fries. Open year round, and across the street from a pretty park to eat at. Winner!

I stopped in here for lunch and picked up a lobster roll 15 and my friend got the clam strip plate. The lobster roll was fresh and delicious, it came with mayo but would be better with butter IMHO. There is only one table outside currently, so you will have to enjoy it somewhere else. Great fresh seafood at affordable prices. The girl working behind the counter had a very thick accent making it a little tough to understand her but it all worked out well.
Easily the best fried seafood in the area. Was kicking myself for time and money wasted at other places when I finally tried Sir Cricket's. This is no frills, fast-food fried seafood with just really, really fresh fish. Fish chowder and fried oysters are by far the best around.
We've been going to this seafood shanty for 15 yrs at least. The last time was disappointing. Fried clams were big, tough, and rubbery. Scallops weren't much better. My wife told the register clerk of same and she simply shrugged her shoulders. Seafood has always been outstanding in the past. Wondering if company is under new ownership. I gave it 3 stars for the fried fish with this seafood platter very good as usual.
