After a resent visit to the Jefferson Country Treasurer’s office it was a pleasant surprise to find a staff so friendly & helpful! They were very knowledgeable about the items required & processed my new vehicle title quickly so I could be on my way to work! So glad we moved to Jefferson County!

I did my Driver’s License at JF CO and was in and out in 15 minutes. Great Service!!!! I called ahead about Real ID to make sure I had all the documents and I did. Easy, Easy, Easy
Terrible customer service, from not all staff, but most staff in the treasurers department. Lack of clear description on what documentation is needed for new drivers license. There was some misunderstanding on my part also. I had drove there twice in one day to realize I didn't have all the documentation. I mentioned I had an expired drivers license but this part was not heared by the person I talked to the first time. The employees I had encounters with had terrible attitudes and a dis look of not being to interested in their jobs. I have also previously gone to Atchison county for these kinds of things, there were never issues like this. After calling to clarify what I needed I was treated like an idiot on the phone. There was miss understanding on both theirs and my part. Instead of a simple \sorry come on down and let's make sure you get what you need.\ I made to feel like an idiot. Will never go back thier. Oddly enough I also had horrible customer service when I got my marriage license there also!
