I am a 39-year old mom of two, and I have been training at 88 since 2017. 88 is my home-away-from-home, and the place I go to not only stay in shape and learn the art of Jiu-Jitsu, but also to find peace, and grow as a person. Coach Keith runs classes that are not only fun and challenging, but also teach elite level techniques that you just can't get anywhere else. My team is my family, and in the three years I've been with them, I've gone from someone who has never done anything athletic in my life, to having medaled twice in competitions, and been promoted to blue belt. I can't recommend Crazy 88 enough to anyone wanting to become a stronger, healthier person, and to reach your maximum potential.

I was looking for a new form of exercise so, my friend who is a member of Crazy88 suggested I look into it. I'm so glad I did. I'm so glad I joined! It's an incredibly unique environment to be a part of. All the coaches are very dedicated to their students and its as if they get a high from seeing their students achieve their goals. The coaches know when to push you hard and, when to take it easy. I'm so proud to be a part of Crazy88 team/ family/Muay Thai lovers.

I have been training at Crazy 88 for 3 years. This gym has always been very clean and has a family friendly atmosphere. The staff and coachers are amazing and actually care about the goals you have set for yourself. I didn't really see myself training for over 3 years but now I can't see myself stopping! Since staring Jiu Jitsu I have competed in multiple different states and set goals for myself I never thought I would. Short version is this is a great gym with great people!

My husband has trained here since our son was 4 weeks old. He is now 4 years old and takes classes of his own. The coaches (both adults and children's classes) are wonderful and are able to pick up on their students talents and abilities and aid in honing those and clearly care about their students as well. Our son adores his coaches, especially Coach Leah who encourages him both on and off the mat (and I have seen this encouragement for all of her students, which is inspiring). My husband has grown in his talents under the coaching with crazy 88 and has been able to take part in a few fight events in addition for further his opportunities with crazy 88. This truly is our Fight Family. If you are an adult or child looking for a place to train, grow, and feel supported, this is your place.

I was shopping for mma gyms in the area and I waked into crazy 88 because of their free week trial. Initially I just wanted to spend some time learning about jujitsu but 3 days into my 7 day trial I had decided to sign up as a full time member and was also taking their Muay Thai classes. I was trying to fit as many classes as I could into my schedule and their availability of classes also at their Elkridge location in the morning worked great with my schedule. Their is no feeling of intimidation for beginners and for those that are athletic it was also challenging. Weather you are a beginner or a multi sport athlete crazy 88 is right for you. Their instructors are second to none with their experience, knowledge and ability to teach. The members are extremely friendly and welcoming. What Initially started as a side hobby to get in shape has transformed my life.
