Good for kids
This is such a great place for a walk in the woods close to town! The wide path with boardwalks are easy to follow and lead you through several habitats as well as the old Finnish farmstead. The different trails allow for walks of varying lengths. One of my favorites!

Super cool area. We walked it after the flash flooding in our wet shoes and it was very enjoyable.
While the wetland was not so wet this year, the walk was still enjoyable and we had a nice time foraging berries along the way.
Beautiful sight seeing if ur a Nature Lover!!! Cant wait4the leaves2finish changn colrs cuz autumn up here is the most beautiful time of the year in the Copper Country!!!! Xtra love it!!
Two trailheads, one east, one west, east trailhead has parking and restroom. Handicap accessible trails with boardwalks and more narrow spur trails. Check out the beaver pond and succession loop
