2 stars are for the delivery, nice and on time. Was our first and last time trying this company. Missing carrots and no response when notifying company, celery, was not expecting 7 big old celery stalks really disappointed, beets no flavor, spinach old and tough, red pepper no flavor. Shiitakes were good. Fred Meyer has much better everything.

I'm on my 4th week with PCH and I'm beyond impressed with the service! I was looking for a CSA-type box that I could fully customize which is hard to find in this area. Getting PCH has essentially replaced 70% of my weekly grocery shopping, and I've been really impressed with their pantry items which has cut down on my need for the grocery store even more. Every week I get to try a new variety I've never heard of and it's exciting to learn to cook new-to-me herbs and vegetables. Last, I love their weekly 'receipt' that details where all your items came from and how to store them properly. I'm hooked.

I’ve been receiving my PCH box since November of last year (2017). I’ve discovered more new vegetables through my PCH box than in my entire adult life. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it. YES it is. There’s definitely a psychology to having vegetables delivered stork style as opposed to going out and buying them yourself. It feels like a gift and therefore must be used. A few reasons I’d give this particular company a try: I grew up near one of the local farms on the Olympic Peninsula and their vegetable ties show up in my box almost every week. I know where my stuff is coming from. No funny business. Side note- we don't grow enough year-round in the PNW (and some things we just can't) so inevitably some of the produce comes from out of state but it seems like they try to get what they can, when they can, from around here. They don’t go through and remove the “uglies” like the grocers do (waste!) so one or two asymmetrical characters have made it into my box, mostly the local stuff. Sure some things must be eaten before others- local doesn’t mean picked yesterday. That’s the nature of growing food in a climate like ours. But for the most part, the produce is bright, lively and bursting with flavor and I’ve been happy with the variety to choose from every week (you can also default to a pre-set box if you just want to be straight up surprised). A huge pro to this company is they are still fairly small and the owner runs the majority of the operations. If I have an issue, I let them know. They seem appreciative and make it right.

Really like the fact is flexible and easy to update his order through the website. I am 100% with the concept, more local, less travel and intermediaries. Thanks!

Thee best. They have great customer service; only once in the last year of deliveries did I get 1 whole item and they caught the error immediately by following up in an email, and comp’d the item. Plus, they include a sweet mini newsletter about the farmers they work with, or about the featured items. It’s my sole food proprietor.
