Good for kids
Just 2 miles up the road from the PCH. Lots of free parking in the lots or on the street. This trail to the first viewpoint is about 30-40 min each way. It connects with other trials that extend deep into the park. We enjoyed the trail on a Sunday, lots of people and many wore face masks. Trail paths are narrow. About 50 percent is shade. Easy incline and switchback which reach the summit. Only has one bench to sit on. Views of the ocean, mountain and homes in the nearby area. Enjoy and please keep the place clean. No bikes or dogs allowed even though I saw a few. The weather was overcast so it didn't get too hot. It's a fairly easy hike for experienced hikers. No waterfalls or creeks one has to hike through. Enjoy!
It's a nice place that only takes within 1 hour you can reach. You can see the whole Socal west coast
