Beach was wonderful. Park Rangers great hosts. No longer a snack bar. Open beaches Campsites were full with RV'S and tents. Clean restrooms. 10 entry fee Free after 5 PM,Rangers go off duty.

This beach is beautiful BUT and I mean BUT I was overwhelmed with the amount of trash left on the beach, dunes and shoreline. Never seen so much in my life on any beach. Texas, time to clean up! Very sad to see.
Lovely place with great parking. Plenty of shells to pick up and lovely warm water.

The park was very clean and not many people during the week. Because of the coronavirus all the offices are closed. So no rentals etc are available. Still no camping allowed also. But the beach is wonderful and since not many people it was great!
Nice beach with a visitor center, restrooms, changing, showers (1 near beach & 1 inside the changing room). There were a few wooden shelters for those who come without a tent for a beach visit (like me ).
Great memories of when I was little and my family would take us on the weekends
