I set an appointment for a covid test this morning. Arrived on time only to be told RUDELY that I needed to wait in my car and someone would call me. Was also told RUDELY that they texted me with this information beforehand. I received no such text. Anyway, after about a half hour or so if waiting I tried to call them. I believe I was hung up on. Ok great. I left and went somewhere else, where I was treated with respect! In the meantime I receive an email from them saying my appointment was cancelled. BY ME! Um no. This was 2.5 hours later BTW. I e-mailed them back only to recelve a response saying my email has been blocked. Seriously? Just as well. Wouldn't trust this place for anything at this point! Go somewhere else if you can! Gave one star only because I cannot give zero.

The nurses and doctors are great but the billing office is absolutely unprofessional. Tried calling to make a payment plan because I unfortunately had to see them 3 times in six weeks and had a high balance. No one picks up and you can’t leave a voicemail. So instead of reaching out to me they sent me directly to collections even though I have been trying to get a hold of them and was making payments in the interim. Tried calling to get it squared away and still no one picks up or can leave a voicemail. Zero customer service. Do not recommend. Office manager was also extremely condescending.

Their care and service is fair and good. However, if you have a insurance policy where it is to be submitted and then paid after it is determined how much is to be paid, they will NEVER send you a bill but wait until it is too late and then send you to collections! Then you have bill collectors calling you but NEVER ONE bill prior to that call!

Since I have been coming to family practice of Palatine I have always had a great experience. I can always get an appointment very quickly. And all of the doctors and physician assistants are very knowledgeable and kind!
