Winter bliss in Paonia What's better than a great place to stay? The awesome people who own Sage View Paonia. Cottage or schoolies (a bus you camp in) are available by the night as well as well furnished rooms with a view in the main house. Dry tent camping as well as large rv spots for self contained boondockers are available. Very close to many services and town is 3 min away. We are here for a week and don't want to leave, ever
What a beautiful place to getaway. The owners were so kind. We stayed in ‘Honey’ campsite, nice and spacious campsites. There are wineries right next door- you could walk or bike to, in minutes. We will definitely be going back!
We really enjoyed our weekend camping at Sage View Ranch. The hosts were so accommodating and the ranch was perfect for our large group. We'll definitely be back!
We loved our stay at Sage View Ranch! We camped in the "Thyme" site, which had beautiful views of stars and mountains in the morning. We came to the ranch at the last minute because our previous plans fell through due to a broken windshield, and Laurie and Scott truly saved us from having a rough night on the road. Highlights: the whimsical property, the love labyrinth, the compost toilet, the goats, the amazing restaurant next store, AND Laurie and Scott's genuine hospitality. We hope to be back soon!
Great hosts and great experience! Tent camped out back and had a blast. Short bike ride distance to downtown Paonia and some great wineries.
My family and I had a wonderful experience camping at Sage View Ranch! Simon, our six-year-old says, “We loved it! We watched the goats being milked. You can feed them if you want. And there was a fairy glen with lights and seashells! I think it’s cool that the campsites are named by spice, and there’s a wonderful view from the camp spots (we stayed in Thyme). There are mulberry trees to pick fruit from, the purple ones are sweet. I would definitely stay there again!” Our hosts were so kind and helpful. Plan to stay here if you’re in the Paonia area!
