Dr. Ewing performed my Duodenal Switch (SIPS) surgery on May 17th. He had been highly recommended by one of his previous patients. My first impression of Dr. Ewing during my first visit, was that he was incredibly intelligent. He inspired me a lot of confidence that I was putting my life in the hands of a very skillful surgeon. The quality I mostly appreciate is his honesty. From my first visit, Dr. Ewing always took the time to explain the entire process; on the day of the surgery, Dr. Ewing explained in great detail every aspect of the surgery as well as his expectations of me post surgery. Dr. Ewing has shown exceptional care in every visit I have had following the surgery. If you are looking for an intelligent, skillful, and honest surgeon, Dr. Ewing is that man. Sonia G.

Dr Ewing a caring physician. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. He is a highly qualified surgeon. 5 stars!would recommended without hesitation.
Avoid This place....Its a surgery factory. This office is so centered on getting new business that they will yes you to death in order to get money from you. I had a consult with Dr Ewing 2 weeks ago. I inquired from the staff whether or not they were in my insurance network.....They assured me they were.....A week later I got a bill for 300 that reflected the fee for my 5 minute consult with the doctor. it was not covered at all....I had to pay out of pocket . If I didnt call my insurance to see what as going on , when i got the surgery I would have been on the hook for the total myself out of pocket. I also now need to get a new surgeon which means my surgery needs to be put off at least 3 more weeks. When I told the billing dept they said they were sorry for the mistake. I then asked if Id get a refund for the 300 they said they would check...I stayed on the line for 10 minutes and they hung up. I guess they specialize on surgicically seperarating you fro your wallet .
