Very nice setup here twice the normal truck spots. It has a play ground, picnic tables and some have a roof over them. Plenty of garbage cans and building is nice new modern and bigger than most you see. Beautiful landscaping and gas onsite staff. Place was clean inside and out and no nasty odors to deal with. Will definitely stop here again if I gave a chance to.

Could really use a better vending machine selection but the place is always among the cleanest, best maintained, unmanned, rest stops I've seen.
This looks like an amazing rest area, if it were open! Sign says closed for renovations. Ample parking for both semis and cars, a playground too! Big building all closed. Even the playground is closed. Swings are wrapped up around the bars and equipment is taped off. I only saw two guys going behind bushes to pee. The least Illinois could do is provide a couple Porto toilets.
Well maintained with clean restrooms. Excellent place to stop for a rest.
Really nice wayside, probably the best I have seen in Illinois. It's a Wayside Chalet if you will. Wayside Wade
