The best place in town for herbs and spices! Wonderful warm and friendly staff. Great for online ordering and drive by pick up. I miss going inside right now but still order on line.

This is spice and seasoning heaven! Wonderful and helpful customer service from all employees during my visit. Everyone was eager to help, friendly, and easy to approach. Love the space available for kids to make art while adults shop. Lovely interior and spacious enough for everyone to browse. Love it and glad I finally discovered the Columbus location!
I have been shopping at Penzeys since I discovered them in Chicago in Oak Park when I lived there many years ago. I don’t think the store is there anymore. I think there is still a store in Naperville. I would love to work for them. I love their spices and makes food taste so good.
Superb product, always. My family has been shopping here for decades, and the selection and value has never wavered. You'll notice the only poor reviews are from those who think it's righteous to back a lying, mentally ill tyrant, or folks who still don't understand that businesses cannot operate as if the pandemic doesn't exist. Yes, we get to vote with our wallet - and this company is doing well. I have never encountered a rude employee in the store, or during one of my pick up orders. I have, however, seen them explain to a customer that the instant gratification being demanded, cannot be accommodated during COVID. I'm glad the people who work in this store feel empowered to keep themselves and the rest of their customers safe. Being kind is a brand value, and every time I visit, I see it. Then again, I choose to see it. Nothing about the idea that cooking is about love and patience was controversial, until that orange menace made hate something to aspire to. Spice up your life. Try something new. Be open to sharing what you can create. Sounds delicious, doesn't it?
I reviewed this once already but apparently Google doesn't remember it. So I'll do it again. Penzeys spices are expensive. No doubt about that, compared to stores. That's where the comparison ends. Because penzeys is so much better than anything you'll buy in the store. I especially like their black pepper, ground roasted garlic, ground toasted onions and the stardust memories. Their soup bases are so great to cook with! I can make gravy just out of those and water. I believe they have ham, beef, chicken, veggie... Not sure if they have anything else. With covid-19 they are not open to the public. but you just go to the website place your order. Within a day or two it's ready for you to drive by and pick up!
We love this place. They have everything that we have ever wanted to season and cook our food. I highly recommend Penzeys.
Penzey's is a must visit if you're looking to step up your spice blends. The blends are great and they'll often include samples,freebies, or goodies with your order. Currently they are only local pickup but the process was simple and straight forward and I was able to get my spices without requiring any interaction.
Great selection of spices and vanilla extracts. A must stop for Christmas baking needs! The contactless pick up is free, quick, and easy to do.
