Decent place to visit for horseback riding- recommended to make reservations, reasonable price, bathroom outside, helmets offered and not required to wear. Very timely, so punctuation is necessary otherwise you'll miss your reservation. Horses were nice, not a treat-rewarding place. Staff appeared knowledgeable.

The staff seemed highly frustrated. And all went from being nice to having huge attitudes very quickly. Especially the man there. They were even rude to each other.... I can understand it’s a stressful situation, you have all these people who dont know what they are doing riding a potentially dangerous animal. But they barely explain anything, and expect you to know exact what to do. Over all it was a pretty enjoyable experience. They do seem to know the animals individually. They just really need to work on their people skills. I don’t think we’ll go back there though. There are plenty of other places that do the same thing. And I’m sure we are bound to find more polite hosts. And for the record, we were not late.

We had a very nice ride, even saw some deer. The guides were very helpful & informative. From novice to experienced riders they explained how to control the horse & the name of the . Provided helmets for those who wanted them.

Best family horseback riding experience ever. Easy drive from St. Louis. Friendly and knowledgeable guides took time with each group member to personally check their experience and comfort levels in order to match appropriate horses and organize the trail line. The guide rode backwards on her horse almost the entire time to coach the less experienced riders. The trail was mostly cool, shady, lush forest with a mix of elevation and a few small creek crossings, which were really fun. The horses are so well-trained they practically guide themselves. My kids liked it so much they started looking for summer jobs at stables so they could ride more.

The trail ride was absolutely beautiful! This is not one of those rides you go on that just keeps you on flat ground. You ride across creeks and up through the hills. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable & friendly!
