A girl friend and I decided to spend our Saturday night at Phoenicia after I heard one of the former managers was returning. Upon arrival on a January rainy cold night, Karam warmly welcomed us and seated us at probably the best seat in the house for the live entertainment. I most certainly ordered a classic on the menu: mixed grill And complimented it with none other than arak - a translucent white unsweetened anise flavor drink made only of two ingredients: grapes and aniseed. #sahtein! Throughout the evening Our server did the occasional check in, the live music was entertaining and of course Karam’s hospitality was stellar! I might as well do a character review on Karam. Pre- covid I had entertained groups of people and his management style was always on point, wanting the best for Phoenicia AND patrons;) Thank you to you and your Team.

Phenomenal and unique Middle Eastern restaurant and lounge. I love it and will go to it every time I visit DC.
Amazing menu with a good variety of vegetarian items. Pleasant and attentive staff. It felt a bit too smoky and stuffy inside for my taste.
I’m assuming they have hired a new chef, because the food was never so good as it was last week. As well as excellent customer service and a great atmosphere. We loved the life music. I have an 8ppl reservation for 2941, but I’m seriously considering instead to make a reservation for Phoenicia for my birthday.
Phoenice is a very nice and clean place, the food is delicious, the price is excellent, the service is fast, the staff is excellent, and I couldn't find anything better than Mayada
