A Great School for our grandchildren! We enrolled our oldest grandchild in pre-K. He went on to complete K there. His happiness at the school was only exceeded by what he learned. I will admit I was surprised when he began to write his own stories, to divide large numbers and to speak with a vocabulary that far exceeded his age. Intellectually - and socially - Ahwatukee Foothills Montessori is superb. The teachers are well-trained with high expectations for the children in a caring environment. Now a second grandchild is enrolled. At 3 years, he looks forward to going to the school everyday.

AFM is awesome. You feel like you are part of a family the second you walk in. My son has thrived and I have seen so much growth since he started.

AFM is Wonderful school. Kids started going to AFM-Ahwatukee when they were 2.5 year old. Initial days were challenging because we use native language at home but as time passes my kids absolutely loved there. They pretend play teacher and very proudly be miss Maria and miss Catherine. Teachers and other staff is really caring and loving. We were very happy with school. social development, communication, celebration, extra activity and much more making AFM as parents choice.

AFM has been a part of our children's lives for almost 7 years now. Our older daughter spent 4 wonderful years there, and now our younger one is headed into her 3rd year. AFM provides a great balance of academic instruction along with true Montessori methods of learning. Its true, kids at AFM start reading at the age of 3! And their reading skills are way ahead of their peers by the time they've graduated kindergarten. The same goes for Math ; Montessori methods are gently incorporated to give the children a strong number sense and they go on to do very well at Math. But what preschoolers and toddlers need more than any of the above is a safe, loving environment where they learn to work together, be kind to each other, engage in lots of free play, and build friendships. And in this regard, AFM goes above and beyond.
