Had such a great time looking around this shop. Came with no particular intent just to look around and I ended up buying a heaping cart full of items. Excellent selection - snacks, dinners, noodles, and non food items. I found a sauce which led me to google a recipe to use it and the shop keepers helped me to find the ingredients I needed. They were super friendly!! Especially happy about sake / alcohol selection. Got myself some cute headbands and tons of food. When I checked out they sorted my products for me ( grouping the frozen stuff, then refrigerated, shelf stable, and then non food. They even wrapped all my sake bottles and boxed them so they wouldn’t break). I am extremely impressed with this shop. Highly recommend and will be going again.

Been coming here since I was a kid, I love this place! They have everything you need, and the family that runs it is so kind and wonderful. It's clean, cute, and has a great variety, even for being small. I hope they stay open forever and the family is doing well. :)

The store is cool and gets two stars because it offers the products I remember form the times I went to Tokyo. At checkout I was buying tofu and the cashier stopped speaking English and asked her coworker if it was okay that the tofu had expired. She replied back in Japanese that it was alright. I wasn't interested in embarrassing someone over 2 of tofu but I will let others know how New Tokyo Food Market does business.
