I first came when visiting family at St Joseph’s hospital nearby in 2012. While I lived in Central Phoenix, I dined here often and brought family . I’ve since been an advocate. A Family owned and operated restaurant, Tortas made fresh each time. I returned after a few years since I moved to the NW valley . Taste , flavor better than I can remember . Enjoy being greeted by the owner and once again being a patron of a locally owned Family Business .

I was having a hard time finding real Mexican authentic food. Craving tacos, I ran into this cute cozy humble clean place and I was not disappointed, in fact I had an amazing experience. I felt like I was in Mexico. The tacos al pastor were delicious . However, their tortas won my heart! I ordered the cochinita torta and I have not tried such a Mexican delicacy in a long time. The last time I remember having a real torta was when I lived in my native country of Mexico lindo y querido. The senior citizen couple was sooo cute and sweet and nice to us. We really felt welcome !!! Everything was amazing. CASH ONLY though! So don’t be upset if you can’t use your credit card or ATM. Thank you for such amazing food! Muchas gracias !!! Regresaremos. We will be back.
Found this place on Google maps and I'm glad I stopped by. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit. I had the cochinta which we really good and tacos are great too try the alambre!
Food is really good but the service is questionable at times. Third trip in..on the first trip they forgot a part of our order..trip two one kn our party only got 8 fries in his order and when asked about this was told thats all thats in an order very rudely....trip three the first one who ordered and paid got their food last and had the smallest order???? But like I said good food.
It’s a pretty good torta. The steak was not chewy. And the flavor combo was tasty. 20 for regular torta and 32oz agua fresca. Good size to split with someone and have room for dessert. The larger size would be two meals for sure. Worth checking out. Going to need to come back and try the tacos.
