You walk in to the bar, there’s a stage to your right, probably with a drag queen performing and/or a live band jamming; all-gender bathroom to your left; fabulous bustling bar and box office up ahead. Beyond the box office, two different size, cozy theaters with multiple events every night. The atmosphere is filled with kindness and creativity. The bartenders are the sweetest folks you’ve ever had pour your a drink. The shows remind you of why the SF artist culture is so crucial to this city’s pulse. This is PianoFight, one of the absolute best places in San Francisco, hands down. Praying for this heart of our creative scene to pull through the pandemic. One of the places I’ve missed the most. So grateful for every moment I got to spend in this space. Hope to do it all again soon.

Pianofight is an amazing indie theater space smack dab in central SF. They have an excellent bar with food to match. There is a mix of live music and indie theater in their two black box theater spaces. Given the disappearance of local theater spots, this is a welcome spot. I deeply appreciate the booking of events ranging from drag queen karaoke to serious politics discussions.
Very welcoming to first timers. Lots of creative juices flowing, along with cocktails, bar food and a great vibe. We saw The Infinite Wrench and loved every minute.
Cute bar and theatre in SF! They have shows with local talent. I highly recommend checking this place out, particularly if you see a show you're interested in!
Sweet bar with an awesome theater inside of it, a little edgy drinks, but they aren't too expensive so it's nice. I work a lot in photography and video around the city and they didn't give me any hassle at all which is really really appreciated. The doorman is a wonderful guy, and the bartenders are wonderfully knowledgeable and intellectual people. Look for their awesome music events and performances.
Great time. Got the chance to participate and have some good laughs. If you are in town and want a good time, check it out.
PianoFight is all around an amazing community bar. Just the other night, they were hosting a presidential debate watch party, an improv show, and a nonprofit community graduation. Love it. The food from the kitchen is delicious; it's perfect bar food. The staff are friendly and the owner is awesome and funny. Our organization truly enjoys working with him to plan events at PianoFight.
Fun, laid back place. Came on a Monday where they have free skits. Support local theatre by donation, buying food, drinks and tipping the bar guys. #localguides
