Excellent beautiful hidden gem. A place to bring the family to get away. Very reasonably priced. Excellent family packages. Beautiful spots to have a picnic or just to think in ponder. The trails are an excellent condition. You will have no problem walking regularly or with small children. The trails are handicapped accessible for a wheelchair walker or rollator. Come on out and get that fresh breath of air you've been needing. You must check in at the visitor center when you get there. Masks are required while in the visiting center. Please remember we are still in a pandemic wear masks, social distance, get vaccinated and we can make it through this.

If you enjoy the fresh air then this is the place for you. Enjoy the interesting facts on the self-guided nature walk or take a simple walk through the woods and see forest succession at work! Great for kids, individuals and groups. Well worth the small entrance fee!
A modest fee will get you in but I don't think too much would be said if you would bypass the visitor center. A little bit of different eco systems are presented. The walk took about an hour. Well kept quiet and peaceful.
Very VERY Clean plus well stocked bathrooms. As a matter of fact the whole place in general was clean and well stocked. It was refreshing to be able to stop at such a nice place for fuel, restroom and snacks! Will definitely make it a regular stop from now on. My parents live in Pasadena, Tx and I live in Albertville, Al. so it will definitely be a regular stop for me from now on.
This is a beautiful place to visit. Very quiet and solitude to gather ones thoughts and think. We plan to revisit here a couple of times before we leave the area.
