Great place to wonder in. I enjoy watching Bruce work on new displays for the front of the store. He has a nack for creating beautiful displays. He has some great advice for decorations for the holidays. I just love his pumpkin collection!!! It's beautiful!!
I find the quality to be better than most other stores trying to pull off the "worldly, unique home goods" look. I recently purchased a large 8 x 10 wool rug from here. Normally a rug like this would run from 800-1,200. I snagged it for 400. Of course not everything they carry is high quality. If it seems cheap and flimsy it will probably break easily. You need a discerning eye when buying goods. I also managed to snag some interesting curtains for 12 a panel, down from 80. You can't beat that deal with a stick. Overall this is my favorite home goods store to shop at. Never pay full price though!
Very helpful and friendly staff; they are why I keep coming back to this store. I have bought several items over the past few years and never had a bad experience: chests, wing-back chair, bar stools, dining table, patio set and several seasonal home decor items. I've been satisfied with the products and find the quality and price to be good, not discount, but in general these are competitive prices. These items come from all over the world, so pay attention to the materials and finishes. Sometimes there are really good values in higher quality goods - i.e. solid wood, iron and stone. I did have a problem with a chair having a short leg, but it was exchanged quickly and courteously.
