I almost missed the location as it sits to the left of the home as a garage front business. Mr. Saul was very knowledgeable and quite frank when it came to the repair of my Husqvarna rear drive mower. He had lots of common parts on site and is clearly a local favorite as there were several walk up customers coming in during my visit. Mr. Saul still gave me the attention I sought and researched some options for me online. He did not push me to scrap my mower for another as it was my recent housewarming gift. He quickly gained my trust. I ended up leaving the mower with him in hopes of his finding a viable fix to the mowers blade shaft. It appears that he fixes small engines to bigger riding mowers as a specialty. I look forward to a solution from him soon but will accept his professional diagnosis either way
To the people who complain about pricing saying auto mechanics charge less. Your wrong he charges 95 an hour most auto repair shops are well over 100 these days in fact spirit dodge is about 160. This guy is top knotch and hard to come by in these throw away and buy new times. He always takes time to listen and give me advice on parts or whatever. Usually he doesn't say a work and goes back and grabs what I need just by seeing what I have in my hand. Find that at Home Depot or Lowes. Fixed my zero turn drive belt in a few days. One needed pipe cleaner fingers to get at it. 80 bucks part included. Beat that!! You can't.
They had our riding mower a month. I understand this is their busy season and didn't expect to have it back the same week...but a month? Then, we go and pick up the mower today and get it home and try to use it. The blades will not engage and mower will not mow. When the mower was dropped off, the only issue with it was that it wouldn't start. Prior to that issue, the mower's blades worked fine. Tried to call them to ask why this was happening and no answer. Hopped in the car and rushed there to talk to them before they closed and the guy was very dismissive when talking to my husband. My husband was told that it was brought in because it wouldn't start, not because of an issue with the blades. You're telling me that you had this mower for a month and didn't even try to see if it was fully in working order?p before you sent it home? And as I stated before, the mower blades worked perfectly fine before it was dropped off. Now I'm stuck with grass so high I lose my dogs in it and trying to find someone else to fix this issue. Will never take a mower there again.
I had a toro zero turn lawn mower and had them try and repair my mower. The main mower would cut for about ten to fifteen minutes and then stall. Ten minutes later I would be able to run it again then it would stall again. I then sent it to this company. They had it for two weeks. I then got the mower back and the same problem occurred. A friend of mine came over and wanted to look at the mower because I was so frustrated. He took off the casing to the lawn mower motor and we visibly saw a dime sized hole in the fuel pump tube. I was irate and called the company to voice my frustrations. I then received a letter from the owner stating basically that the whole in the tube wasn’t causing the problem so they didn’t do anything about it. This also concerned me because what mechanic would find a problem and not advise the customer about it? I WILL NEVER use this company again and I would seriously advise no one else do as well.
