Overall very happy with my purchase from Empire! The sink/counters in my master bathroom were from ‘85 and very outdated and ugly. Micah showed me the slabs on the yard and I fell in love with the leathered material. There were a few miscommunications in the pricing and material at the beginning (keep all communication in writing!), but everything came together perfectly! The install guys were quick and efficient! Very fair cost for great work!

There is so much detail I'd have to write an essay. To make it short.. We went in late March or early April and picked out a countertop with Ben. Ben had us call Micah. We talked to her and got price quote but due to Covid.. no work order. We waited. We called Micah 2-3 times with no help. July 7th we went by their shop and asked Ben what's going on.. He SAID he would look into it and let us know and to call another sales person Bonnie. He never called and we did not want to get another person involved. 2 weeks later we called and told Ben he never called us and asked for owners name. He said call Matt Baird, we did and he was very nice and said we would get this fixed. Matt was to call us day before yesterday. GUESS WHAT... HE NEVER CALLED. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL UNORGANIZED COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN EMPIRE... if you didn't want our business, you should've told us in April. You have wasted 4 months of our time with a nonfunctional bathroom sink we can't replace until we get a countertop. Thanks for nothing!

If I could give lower than one star I would. They do not stand behind what they say. if they mismeasure and it doesn't fit they are not responsible. If you want quality and customer service AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I rather like the people, got good service, and the people were nice. Since each slab is different you need to pick out the one you want and they will tag it with your name on it. Helps to take pictures of the slab too. The cutting of the slabs and the corners is done by hand, thus you can tell it was handmade. Looks good in my house. The sample I picked out was called rain forest (Brown) mine came with Brown but it also had a touch of white in it and that alone made my granite really stand out. Loved it.
