People think that because Dr Howland. Is emotionally detached from his patients that he does not care about them.But a exceptional psychiatrist never becomes emotionally involved with his patients. He’s not your friend.he’s an expert there to help you solve your problems .

Dr. Howland is THE WORST mental health doctor. He should be ashamed of himself. He blatantly ignores his patients and does not respond to internal emails. He does not listen to his patients. After 5 1/2 weeks of attempting to get a response from him, with the help of other staff, I had to circumvent the procedures to get an appointment with another provider. I am also reporting him to the Medical Board and UPMC CEO. If you need mental health treatment, avoid this poser at all costs.

I went to see this Doctor, because everyone was booked and I will never go back. He made me feel worse than when I went in, and I would rather wait a very long time and sick than to ever see him again. He was very inconsiderate that, I was the patient and he was the Doctor
