Had dinner last night at Tana with my daughter. We both had the Vegetarian Combo which is served on a large crepe with four veggie selections and eaten by hand. I also ordered a side of collard greens which I would recommend. It was very good although I would have liked a bit more seasoning. Service was good and friendly. Attractive, simple decor.

In town visiting family. We don't have any ethnic food where I'm currently living so wanted to give this place a try while I was in town. Have been craving Ethiopian since I ate at a Ethiopian Restaurant in South Carolina. Very quick service. Did takeout, food was still nice and warm by the time I got home. We ordered both the meat and veggie sampler plates. Both were very good. The lamb and the cabbage were my favorite. The injera was not as sour as I am use to but it was still good. My wife would have liked a little more spice on the meats but over all we had very pleased taste buds and bellies. If you've never tried Ethiopian food I would highly recommend it. It's a great communal family event.

Not sure what this is, not really Ethiopian. Sorta tastes like a bad white people version. The veggies were passable, the meat combo was dry and flavorless.

Food is good, portions are decent. The service can improve. I spent few minutes waiting for any stuff to be around to ask for a bill.

We had to drive a long way home with our takeout and it wasn't quite as good as if it had been 100% fresh, but if you live close by you'll love it! We can't wait to go back when things reopen and we can do dine-in.

Great Ethiopian food. Their dishes were about average for the many Ethiopian places I've been to in DC, but the injera was particularly good--more sour and with more structure to it than other places I've eaten at. If you expect the food to be spicy at all, you're going to be disappointed though. Make sure you ask if you want something beyond white people spicy. Really generous portions though--we spent 30 and had food for two with another meals worth of leftovers which I've never had from places in DC. Great value! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for Ethiopian.
