Dr. Earl Lund at Plano Orthopedics and Sports was professional, thorough and compassionate. He corrected the diagnosis previously given by a local ER and prescribed the proper cast. My pain has been greatly reduced. I’m very grateful.

I broke my left hand. Dr. Lund and his team walked me through the process like the pros they are. Support staff knowledgeable and efficient. I hope I never break another bone but if I do..I will know where to go.

Dr Lund was referred to me by my son whom is also a Physician. I went in to have my right shoulder looked at for it had been bothering me for months. Dr Lund reviewed my lack of mobility in my shoulder and sent me for an MRI which revealed torn ligaments. He then scheduled me for surgery for repair. I am currently in the process of post surgery recovery and am doing very well. Dr Lund is someone I would recommend to anyone needing shoulder repair and Plano Orthopedic is an excellent facility. This is my second Dr and surgery from this facility for I had a wrist surgery from there by a now retired physician a few years ago and it turned out well.
The experience of being treated by Dr. Lund and POSM has been top notch. After a horrific snowboarding injury to my triceps tendon, they got me in right away for evaluation. Dr. Lund is very familiar and experienced, even with this relatively uncommon injury. His consult and evaluation made me very comfortable proceeding with the surgery, and he was able to get me on the schedule quickly (he scheduled me on a Saturday to make sure I didn't have to wait until after Christmas). I had a specific pain management request to manage my surgical pain without opioids, which Dr. Lund gladly accommodated for me (my pain after surgery was minimal and I only took tylenol!). The staff at POSM is very efficient, and almost never behind, which is unheard of. They are a well-oiled machine. Dr. Lund's PA Vicky was very attentive, and provided answers to any questions I had. I never want to have surgery, but if I do, this is the ideal experience! Thanks Dr. Lund, Vicky, and staff!
