Awesome Afghan food in east Plano! Everything we had here was delicious but our favorites were probably the potato bolani, Kabuli palau with lamb shank, and mantu. They have outdoor seating, which is great on a warmer day. Try for yourselves, the pictures don't lie!

Absolutely love all the menu items at Express Kabob! Have been coming here for years and am always recommending this restaurant to friends. The potato bolani, grilled chicken kabob combo, and koobideh kabob combo are a few of my family favorites, but all of their items are flavorful, delicious, and fresh. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic afghan & persian cuisine.

The food was fantastic. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted but the women at the counter was so patient and understanding. Highly recommend coming in!

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s usually a great experience. Unfortunately, when I came over to pick up some food to go I immediately saw that one of their employees (the younger, possibly Latina? woman) refused to wear her mask over her nose. I’m unsure if she was working directly with the food, but I did see her walk around the kitchen area and can assume she was near the food being prepared for customers. We are still in the middle of a global pandemic with Texas numbers getting worse and worse by the day. There is absolutely no reason for an employee at any food establishment to not be wearing their mask properly. We won’t be returning until at least after the pandemic is completely over.
