Don’t even waste your time. We love this place and have frequented it in the 3 different states that we lived in. The service at this location is garbage. Our waitress took our order, and then disappeared. We literally had to walk into the kitchen and ask for someone to come to our table to order more drinks and food. If it was busy, I would understand, but there were only 4 other tables there that were filled. Definitely will not be returning to this location!

Great customer service and quality. We ware satisfied with the beef but we felt like the pork belly could be better seasoned.

Easy access to this great location on Preston just South of 121. It’s like a Korean bbq. The Wagyu is delicious. I don’t think it’s a Japanese place however. Service was good and it’s a quiet atmosphere vs the loud places. They don’t have Japanese green tea - you can tell. The skirt steak was good also. Loved the garlic noodles with broccoli. This area has a lot of restaurants I plan to check out.

Gyu-kaku has some really delicious food. The only issues we ever have is if they're a little too busy or understaffed, it can take a while between your "servings". With the all you can eat menu, that can be a bit of an issue as it has a 1.5hr time limit. But if it's a noticeable delay, they'll wave the time limit for you, like they did for us today. Also, the umakara ribeye was definitely best. We wished that they would have had the harami pot like they used to, but I think they're on a limited menu due to covid. If that's on the menu and you're doing the all you can eat, it's definitely worth it to upgrade.

Green tea lady M cake was 5 star, the main reason we went. It's the best. We had their most expansive meat to BBQ. They're fresh and tender but 3 star on over all value: hot Stone rice was too salty, and the rest of the meat we tried for under 9 are too salty, or too tough. I Used their app for special offer. But will not go back.

Review is for reservations, food is great, but there needs to be a disclaimer online when placing reservations. Our reservation was at 8:30, and when we were seated we were informed they would be closing soon and would only have 15 minutes to order and eat for the "all you can eat" portion. The food we did try was great, but timing, information, and reservation was the downfall.

Awful service. Came twice both left without being served. First time we left a phone number at dinner hour, didn’t call back at all. Second time came at 3PM, dinner is half full but the waitress claimed that they are too busy. Was asked us to wait 20 mins and there is no signs of anyone leaving for 30 mins. I would suggest go to other restaurants

I would've given this restaurant a higher rating if the service had been better. My server seemed to be a high school kid so I guess its a little understandable but it did reduce my experience there. The food was pretty good. Some plates would've been better if they went a little lighter on the sauces but they used good quality meat and veggies. And I have to admit, their Kim Chi is better than some of the other nearby Korean BBQ spots.
