BEWARE! Hearing safety precautions are not properly in place!! I didn't realize the EXCRUCIATING noise this machine makes. I have since researched that proper fitting earplugs (in addition to ear muffs if needed) are required for an MRI, and that the MRI technician is to ensure your hearing is protected through these means. Medical professionals also advocate for the \whisper test\, where the MRI technician, out of eyeshot, whispers to the patient. If the patient hears through the ear protection, the protection is inadequate. The \ear plugs\ provided me, were piped-in music from a flimsy headset. They were just given to me without ensuring proper fit/protection, which were loose and falling out. The noise from the machine was so deafening, I cried and was sick from the pain. The MRI technician was far from sympathetic or compassionate. Since this test was conducted, my migraine condition has worsened and I now have hearing damage. I never write reviews, but if I can help prevent someone from my horrible experience, then it is pertinent to get the message out to seek testing from a facility who takes the important, necessary measures of protecting their patients hearing.

I had a horrible experience at another place for MRI's. It was double the price and I waited forever! At A1 it was fast and easy and also a LOT cheaper.
