A very dog friendly restaurant. I am Keto so I had a salad with blackened sea bass and a spiked seltzer. It was excellent. Total bill was about 22. Service was fast fish tasted fresh. Do you order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. They bus your table for you.

This is based on two visits. Casual fish spot in Point Loma. We sat on the counter outside, facing the street. They took care of it by placing plastic frames every two seats. There is no table service for the price. The line was long in both my visits. The poke was good - fresh, well diced and good seasoning. The coconut shrimp we found to be a bit too sweet. I would come back for beer and poke.
I'm from out of town but was visiting the area. My son recommended we try this place since he raved about their fish and chips. I was very impressed! Really good fish and chips. Many times they can be bland. Not here! Lots of taste that will leave you wanting for more regardless of the big serving size! Fresh fish and great batter. Real fish and chips!!
Just wow! Their Pineapple Express and Spicy Dorado tacos are phenomenal. So happy we ventured across this place!
Love the vibes at Point Loma Fish Shop! Its laid back and casual, and everything I've tried there has been delicious. I had been to the other Fish Shop locations (PB and Encinitas), and loved them both, so I thought I'd check out the PL location after running errands in the neighborhood. The staff was so friendly and there were plenty of seating options on the patio for outdoor dining. I'd had the Salmon Sandwich before, so I decided to try something new - The Spicy Dorado Taco. The spicey-ness was perfect and I loved the FS seasoning. The Point Loma location also has cocktails, which is amazing! I tried the Fish Shop Margarita, delish! I recommend this spot for locals and for anyone visiting San Diego, I know I will be back soon
