Originally known as the American Water Ski Educational Foundation, the foundation has gone through a series of rebranding as The USA Water Ski Foundation and has refocused it's mission. The new mission statement is "The USA Water Ski Foundation raises funds to preserve and celebrate the history of all towed water sports and to promote and grow these sports through marketing and educational program initiatives". The USA Water Ski Foundation helps to promote competitive and recreational water sports through educational scholarships, historical preservation, and supporting the nine disciplines. By hosting fun and promotional events at our facilities we plan to increase awareness that we are located in the Water Ski Capital of the World. The foundation also works closely with our national governing body, USA Water Ski to support and promote the future success of water sports.
