Awesome course! Great condition. Lots of water so be ready for a few splashes but cross your fingers that that won’t happen to you. Some of the greens are tough. I would have preferred if the greens were faster but they were fine. The “black hole” with a black sand bunker in the middle of the green was really cool and is a fun concept :) I also love that it is only 12 holes, as that was a new concept to me but it saves so much time and is still fun. In fact, I only played the Front Yard )”(front 9) and still had a blast. Great little hidden gem in the greater Jacksonville area.

Great course redesign of the old Oak Bridge. Although you can still see some of the old layout shining through, the conditions are in an entirely different league than before. The course is fun to play, but not a course I'd play regularly. It's a little gimmicky with undulating greens. One hole even has a bunker in the middle of the green (see the black hole pictures). Also, it's a little over priced for 9 (or 12) holes (45-55 range). It's easy to walk if you're undecided on taking a cart. The course is divided into the front yard (primary 9 holes, par 35) and the backyard (a mix of par 3s of varying length) I don't fully understand the backyard since you can play 6 additional holes or 3 additional holes, all of which are different. Bottom line, it's worth playing once to try it out, but no need to rush back immediately.
We love the course, greens in pretty good shape. I am sorry, forgot his name the Pro Shop person, is always a gentleman and super nice explaining things for our first couple of times. Cart barn guys very friendly and helpful. More fee courses should take a lesson from you all. 3Palms bartenders are great!
Really enjoyed paying The Yards. The conditions are one of the best public courses in this area you can find. A challenging course with fast greens and water in play, but when conditions are like this, you don't mind. Wish it was 18 but we did the turn and played 9 twice This opportunity actually was great, as you had a chance to play the hole again and work on your mistakes and strategy as compared to the first time. We all enjoyed the day and the patio bar is a wonderful way to end the day. Great food and drinks, beautiful view. So good I took my wife for a sunset dinner.
Played FlingGolf on the newly renovated course - both the Front 9 and the Back par 3s. Incredible difference from the last time we played here. Greens were fast but true (and fun) and the course overall was in immaculate shape. The staff was very welcoming and enthusiastic about us pulling out our FlingSticks and getting out there. Honestly, one of the best things about it is the casual vibe that you don't find at other venues. They are on to something special here. Cant wait to play it again.
The Yards is one of the best golf facilities I have had the opportunity to enjoy. The course conditions are fantastic. Best greens in North Florida. The staff makes you feel at home and they have established a great vibe. The events they put on are second to none!
I suppose most folks first rate the course itself, the price, the upkeep etc, but our fist experience at The Yards didn’t include a round of golf. Both Brad and Josie are phenomenal frontline workers in the shop and handled all our questions with the utmost ability. We actually bought a hat. The range, putting, chipping and course was just what the doctor ordered and we hit the 6 hole, par 3 twice during a short vacation
Immaculate conditions with well groomed landscaping. Beautiful variety of homes frame the outside perimeter while observing all the big birds of the area. Simple efficient pro shop and clubhouse area with a large out door seating area overlooking a huge practice facility. Cold beverages are easily bought at pro shop from a self serve cooler. Usually no crowds for a leisurely round of golf. Enjoy !
