First time on a ferry and it was a great experience during our family trip. The kids really enjoyed the views and the fact that they didn't get sea sick.

I take this ferry often on the weekends. The tables have heaters under them so if it's chilly snag a table. Remember to share if your party is less than 4 people! I've met many very nice people on this ferry. There is a duty free shop, and a cafeteria with some limited selections. They have coffee, and wine for when you are state side. The upper deck is great for the views. Lovely way to travel between Victoria, BC and Port Angeles, WA.

Unfortunately they are no running because Canada has their border closed at the moment. But have used them before, had a great trip on the Black Ball Ferry previously went to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Beautiful country and the inner Victoria Harbor is like nothing you have seen before. I highly recommend that you visit Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Clean ship. Smooth voyage. Weather cold and wet. Strong winds. Lost my hat but luckily another passenger scooped it up 20 feet from me. Cafeteria is well stocked with a huge variety. Maps and literature of sights to see in Port Angeles. Great way to return to the U.S.

Really neat experience! The boat itself is very old and doesn't have many amenities, but that's part of it's charm. The crew were very good at loading the cars effectively to fit as many on as possible. Going through the border was orderly and not stressful. I'll be traveling on the coho again.
