I called ahed of time and asked what items they accepted as donations. I asked books housewares like glasses dishes and such he said yes! Knick knacks yes! Lamps yes! So I loaded up the car and drove it over. He comes out and starts looking through the things and starts saying I have so much stuff to sort now that ummmm. He just didn't want the things he saw so said no thank you! I didn't take a bunch of junk! I wouldn't donate anything to them even if I ha ve have to throw it away!

The people are nice, their practices are not. I use to shop there a lot. Not long ago I purchased 2 pieces of furniture. A white amor & a secretary desk over 200 total. I asked if my items could be kept aside for a couple weeks so i could procure transportation. I was ASSURED the items would be held. When I went back to pick them up they were sold to someone else. When I explained the situation to the gentleman (I use to deal with the owner who's very reasonable, this was not the owner) ) he told me \you took to long so we sold them to someone.\ (it was 3 weeks) I asked if he would call the owner. Was told , the owner was not available. I explained that I paid & had the receipt & permission. Guy daid, well whoever said they could hold it that long was mistaken & that he was sorry but there was nothing he would do. Not even a refund. Will never shop there again.

I was looking for a vintage glass lid to replace the one I broke. I couldn’t believe the prices for used donated goods! Much to expensive. The man is very nice but his wife is unfriendly .
