If you’re looking for a program that will challenge you while encouraging you, or a program that will push you to help you realize your true potential, then GFU’s GSC is the place to be. I learned about who I was, who I am, and who I wanted to be both personally and professionally. The staff is incredibly supportive, and you can go at your own pace!

My name is Marti. I never thought I would love GFU as much as I do. I have always felt welcomed , honored! I was accepted at PSU, Lewis and Clark and accepted at GFU! I decided to enter GFU because their program is amazing. As I visited the small classrooms, the care the professors have for the students. They truly want you to learn. It’s a full program , it is hard but you will exit with a great education that is balanced. In the last few months I had a bit of a health scare, they worked with me so that I could continue to strive. Dr. Dempsey is the best advisor. Easy to talk to. I always feel listened to and that he cares about my career as a future counselor. I’m in internship right now! And I feel equipped and prepared as I embark due to the great education and instruction I have received here at George Fox University. I’m thankful and proud to be a Bruin.

I graduated from George Fox University Masters in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling program in 2014. I had an exceptional experience with peers, faculty and staff. I felt supported and challenged throughout the process.
