Proper English food. Terribly dry , half a cheese sandwich and some aspall, I wouldn't trade a bite here for anything else in the world . But really, try thier sausage rolls, pork pasties, and the full English breakfast. If you aren't American you'll be in love, lol idk if you are American just add sugar I guess

A cool British style place that plays soccer games and has some good eats. My colleague had the fish & chips while I had the bangers & mash. This is the first time where I ordered a meal, whereas before we would just have some drinks here. The bangers & mash was very delightful. I think for me the game changer was their gravy. That gravy is just sooo good that I feel like I could just put it on anything and it will just make things better. The service is pretty good as you order at the counter and then they will bring the food out. The space is of a good size with a larger back room for larger parties and a nice outside patio on the side.

This place might be exciting during peak hours, but I went here on a Wednesday evening and the scene was completely dead. No games were being shown on the TVs either. Anyway, the food was amazing. The shepherd pie was huge, had a very good buttery crust, and the veggies inside were fresh and tasty, it came with mashed potatoes and mashed peas and the entire dish was a success. My husband ordered the fish and chips sandwich and it was ridiculously good too. Overall, super high quality British fare. One weird thing though .. the lady at the counter was either stoned or did not want to talk to us, as we had to ask her everything twice or thrice to get a response out of her. And later her friends arrived and sat at the counter, so she just got busy with them. The server who brought our food was super friendly though.

In Portland for work and stopped in hoping to see the Aston Villa preseason match, and they turned it on for me. Niki, one of the owners chatted with me for a while, as did the friendly staff. The steak and ale pie was fantastic! The space is good sized and open. Definitely coming back.

Had so much fun just reading the menu at this place! Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice decor. Great selection of beer and cider on tap, and more options canned also. Steak and Ale pie is my hands down favorite meal so I HAD to order it. It didn’t disappoint, but I am personally used to eating them in Scotland and England and this wasn’t quite the same. The pastry was great and the flavor was excellent... it just wasn’t quite the same as at home. But I still would order it again and highly recommend it! Also the portion size was huge and was shareable! The side of gravy for the chips was super yummy, highly recommend! Sticky Toffee Pudding was also delicious and a must have even if you’re full!

Loved this space! We visited for the indie pop brunch and adored it. Nice vibe, delicious food and well priced drinks. We tried all 3 of the little pies (3 people having a third each) and it was perfect. Enjoyed the bucket of mimosas and had an excellent chill Sunday.

Great English pub, with everything you want from one - Guinness on draft, excellent fish and chips, bangers and mash, scotch egg and all the usual fare. Well prepared food, good vibes, football on the screens, and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
