My mother spent the last 4 months of her life at Young at Heart Care Home and I could not have asked for a better place for her to be. The home itself is beautiful. It is decorated nicely and each of the 5 residents have their own room and private bath. Everything about the home feels comfortable. What really sets this home apart from other facilities is the warm, loving care that the owners provide. When I took my initial tour of the home I had no doubts that this is where I wanted my mom to be. Dora and Claudio, the owners, are two of the nicest people I have ever met. My mom, who never adapted well with change, quickly grew to love them. I always knew that my mom was being well taken care of while she was there. Their friendliness, good communication and the compassion they show to their residents make them excellent caregivers. I highly recommend the Young At Heart Care Home to anyone searching for a place for their loved one.

Cannot say enough about the 3 years our dad spent with Young At Heart. They made us feel at home, and more importantly how they cared for our dad was amazing and made it his home. They were always available and helped us understand what was taking place and provided insights to his care. I can’t imagine getting any better care than what YAH provided.
My mother lived in this home for 5 years. During that time Dora and Claudio were always attentive to my mother's situation as she lost her mental and verbal capabilities. The entire facility is very clean and my mother was kept very clean and well groomed. Dora had great communication with my mom's hospice team, notifying them of all medical issues/changes she observed and advocated for my mom. Over the 5 years Dora and Claudio saw me through the sudden death of my father (at his home) and through my mother's final days. We had laughs and cries throughout this tough time period (for me as an only child). They always treated my parents and I as family and still treat me as family even after my direct connection with them has concluded.
My Mom found Young At Heart during a very difficult time in my Dad and our lives, and it ended up being an absolute blessing. We had visited several memory care facilities and were unsure if a foster care home would be the right place. We felt comfortable from the second we stepped in the door and met Dora. What a beautiful, clean, home, and peaceful atmosphere. Dora worked wonderfully with my Dad's hospice team and did everything possible to help make his last days the best that they could be. We are so grateful for the place Dora and her husband created, and for the relief we had that knowing he was being well cared for. Dora is a true angel that truly cares, and she will have a special place in our hearts forever.
The owner and caregivers of this beautiful home are exceptional. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. They work well with other providers. Dora always kept me informed of what was happening with my loved one. It is clean and modern and very well kept up. I highly recommend this facility and would definitely use this home again if I needed to. I would rate it 10 stars if that was an option.
