Hertzler's is a great place to go to for farm animal grain & feed, baked goods, and the most pure beef. They raise their own. The store is in an old building that has a lot of character. Very well organized and assortment to choose. If asked very informative of anything they sell. Family owned. Good Reputation. Better service than a Tractor Supply.

They have been very helpful during this virus. They have the best meat and we buy all of our beef from them. We pay over the phone and pick it up in front of the store. Real service.

We bought 14 chicks (hens) from Hertzier Farm back in March. Out of the 14 supposed hens we now have 5 roosters and 9 hens. We knew there was a chance for some of our Silkies to be roosters which accounts for 2 of the roosters but a mistake was made by the hatchery with the others. I called to see what can be done and was basically told too bad- it happens. I asked if I could call the hatchery and was told they are going to say the same thing- we make mistakes and they are not going to do anything about it. I understand it can happen but that means 30% of the hens I bought are roosters. The way I was raised when you make a mistake you apologize and try to make it right and correct your mistake. Very dissatisfied with Hertzier (and whoever the hatchery is). Won’t be using them again and if you use them just know you are on your own if you end up with roosters instead of hens:
