Dear Sirs/Madams: Do not trust this guy(AJ), he will manipulate you and con you into buying from him. There are several rug dealers in the valley you should visit just so you understand this review and my frustration. I really hope he gets what he deserves.

Working with Prestige Rugs was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They repaired a damaged area on our rug that was indistinguishable from the original when done. Quick, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with... they did a great job cleaning our rugs as well.

Great selections and excellent service. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. I shopped so many places before going to Prestige Rugs. I never thought I would find such an incredible selection and quality. Very happy with them and highly recommend them.

So I had stopped in a while back to ask a very pleasant young man if he did appraisals on tapestries because I have one that has been in my family for generations. I was told to come back with the tapestry. I returned to meet the trannice younger man who had me lay out the tapestry for the owner to see when he got back from lunch. The owner walks in and that’s when everything changed. It started with him asking for 500.00 for an appraisal which I agreed upon with him strangely becoming more and more rude, unprofessional, and the best way to describe it is.....mean. He then changes his mind and gives me the email address of some random online auction house which I am trying to write down while he is foreign, hard to understand, and stuffing a sandwich in his mouth. He then starts berating me about the price of things and obviously has no grasp on the concept of free market value. Meaning that things are only worth what you can sell them for. If a rug costs 3000.00 to make but can only sell for 500.00, that is what it’s worth on the free market. If a rug is say Versace and cost only 1000.00 to make but because of the name and logo is worth 20,000 that is how much it’s worth on the free market. It was such an inane bitter interaction. I have never left one of these reviews before but I would avoid at any cost unless you want to deal with a bitter, rude, unprofessional (I mean come on your stuffing your face and spiting food at me while I, a customer who could buy half your store is standing in front of you?) rather seedy seeming establishment. I’m actually just kind of shocked about the whole interaction.

I had (5) important and antique rugs cleaned and restored at Prestige Rug Gallery - AJ and his team were amazing. Having done this before in Los Angeles the difference was night and day and would highly recommend Prestige to anyone. Thanks AJ!

I have had my entire collection of Persian carpets cleaned and/or mended at Prestige Rug Gallery and the work has been flawless!
