The Plan is directed by a board elected by member colleges and universities. The participating schools guarantee the prepaid tuition at any current institution or any that join in the future. The colleges and universities pay all costs through annual management fees so every dollar a family contributes to its account buys prepaid tuition. The Plan is authorized under section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code. The funds of account owners are pooled into a legally required Qualified Trust. The Plan has entered into an agreement with OFI Private Investments Inc., a subsidiary of OppenheimerFunds, Inc., to provide administrative, service and marketing support to the program. OFI Trust Company is the trustee for the Program Trust.
