I feel so bad that I didn’t write this sooner but my family of 5 chartered with Captain Nico at the end of June 2020. Captain Nico knew exactly where to take us to find Striped sea bass and we each caught one. It was fun catching our bait (mackerel) to then go out and reel in the bigger fish. I also wanted to see whales and we had a blast hopping around the waters to catch sight of a few big whales. Captain Nico was very professional and knowledgeable. I’m so glad we chose him for our fishing charter adventure!

Incredible day out , best day of the holiday. Nico was very flexible and communicated punctually. We landed a ton of bass and he even spotted a Fin Whale which rounded of a perfect trip. We can't rate him highly enough.
One fantastic morning of fishing. That’s all I can say. Nico knows his stuff and his boat is perfect. On this boat no one is crammed in on the stern as you can completely walk around and fish from any part of it. Nico is quick to help and friendly with advice and knows where to go for fish. Stop looking and book now.
On a cold and somewhat choppy day, Nico took us to calm waters. He found the fish and we reeled them in abundance. More importantly, he made my two 15yo girls feel comfortable and confident On their first fishing trip. I’m a tough grader informed by 20 years running a business. A You’ll find the investment worth every penny!
What a day! We set out of Provincetown at 7am and arrived at the fishing grounds by 7:30. We immediately saw 2 Fin whales that swam right under the boat! 5 minutes later, Captain Nico was attempting to give us a quick tutorial on how to use the rods with the live bait, when he accidentally hooked a fish, and from that moment on we didn’t stop catching fish. Our party was comprised of myself, my friend, and our 2 girlfriends, with a wide range of fishing experience, but Nico made fishermen out of all of us. By the end of the trip, everyone had hooked and landed fish. Meanwhile, whales continued to flirt with us with the occasional breach or spout of the blow hole. Experiencing an all-in-one Fishing charter whale watch was something I was not ready for. Truly magical. Nico knew exactly where the fish were and how to get them. I didn’t see many boats pulling in fish after fish as we were. We probably caught 30 fish while other boats were struggling to catch 1. It was evident Nico a true professional and was extremely friendly and helpful. He ended the trip by filleting our fish for us and recommending striped bass recipes. We cooked it that night and it capped off the best day of the summer! Highly recommend this charter! I wish there were more stars!
