The dirt road down to the lake is badly eroded so be careful. At least it's a short walk. This area is great because there is so little boat traffic and lots of opportunity to be alone. Head upstream for a secluded paddle or go toward the lake for osprey nests.

Great spot to kayak. I don't even want to give it away! Peaceful and secluded.
Lots of traffic and not many areas to park, so it is congested very quickly. The area is fine with higher lake levels, but there are a lot of underwater hazards when the lake levels drop that can become a problem. Local kids like to jump from the adjacent bridge, and that can cause quite a bit to work around at times. Best times to go are early in the morning or late in the evening if you are wanting to get in and paddle or fish.
Really rocky path with several foot drop on one side so we couldn't back the truck up to the water's edge. Pretty steep too. Parking is on the aide of the road.
Very peaceful
I went fishing today. Did not get a fish,,. Maybe tomorrow . Do enjoy having fun.
