I visited this store for the first time the other day seeking my first ukulele. The woman who helped me was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She helped me select the perfect ukulele for a beginner like myself, I was relieved by their low prices. I was able to get myself the instrument, a bag of picks, a carrying bag, and a capo for a little over 100. After I made my purchase the employee and I made small talk. I haven't been out of the house much, so having someone to have a good chat with was really nice. I'll be coming back to this store for any musical needs.

This is a wonderful place for music lovers and students. Our young daughter took guitar lessons with Tony for two years and piano lessons with Dana for three years. Both were fantastic to work with! They are friendly, patient and supportive. We have also used Ted Brown for instrument purchases and rental. Everyone at the S. Hill store is friendly and welcoming. They answer questions knowledgeably and without any sales pressure. Highly recommend!

It's nice to visit a local shop with people who are passionate about their craft to ask questions to. I support these types of businesses any time I can as they are getting harder to find. The only drawback for me is that I don't understand a lot of the technical lingo and have to ask for them to dumb it down a bit. Otherwise, a great place to support and glean knowledge from if you want to avoid the online forums and just ask a pro in person while keeping your money in the local community.

It was great, they were very kind and understanding, and we ending up buying things in the least efficient way possible but they were understanding and polite, it was great. They also very obviously cared about music which was nice. I liked it
