Amazing outdoor set up! The rolls were great and their prices were were very fair. Definitely a nice setting for the food and ambience.

Dai Hachi is one of my favorite sushi spots. They did a great job with their parklet/outdoor setup and always seem to be super busy, which is nice to see. The service is fast and friendly. I love everything I've tried on their menu (favorites - Spicy Tuna Roll and the Mermaid Roll). Fair prices, esp happy hour drinks!

Nice food! Love their outdoor dining area. Clean restroom. Would love to go back once the covid thing is over to enjoy their indoor dining.

Been to Gantry park area so many times and only noticed this place because of their outdoor setup with food dividers between tables. Decided to try it with my friend and I'm glad we did and were seated in door with great outdoor air circulation. Their roll choices are great. Tried a couple of their special rolls and they were great with good portion. Never had a banana spicy roll and I'm glad I tried the one they offered. Will def order it again soon. With the weather getting colder as most restaurant now in NYC it would've tough to eat outside and this place though they have indoor dining is only limited to a few tables. Takeout definitely is another option.

Excellent food with a generous lunch special as well as adequate ventilation for outdoor dining with heaters. The music they play makes you feel like you are at a club. They just need to ask one of the employees to stop smoking. It really ruins the overall pleasant experience.
