Remember the good old days when you could go to a neighborhood store and get fabulous service AND the best price available. That is Rafael Interiors. I have been going to them since 1990. I have purchased over 20 pieces custom-upholstered furniture from them, had very old and fragile chairs, re-furbished and re-upholstered, purchased blinds and draperies, and had custom-made bed linens made. Shades I purchased through them for my sun porch at the beach mildewed over the winter. These shades were not certified for outdoor use, but they had the manufacturer send me a different set of shades worth 7k for free. On ONE occasion, the factory made a mistake matching a pattern repeat. They made sure I received a new chair within weeks. The guys who perform their re-upholstery and refurbishment work are geniuses. And reasonable. Their prices simply cannot be beat. And customer service is king here. This is a family-owned and operated business. Three generations. Morris, the youngest member of the team, has become my go-to guy. My daughters, who are now adults, are making us a two generation family of customers. They are not interior decorators. I have seen customers leave in a huff because they didn't provide decor services. But they are very helpful with suggestions once you know roughly what you want. I have recommended them to all my friends and they all have had the same experience. Once you try Rafael, you'll never shop ABC again.

This store is why I still love to shop at the small Boutiques in Manhattan. You cant get this kind of service at a department store! They helped me design the drapes for my whole apartment. I then bought the most luxurious sheets and towels from them as well. I recommend this store highly- ask for Morris (his blue eyes are magnificent too!)
I LOVE working with Rafael Interiors. I have worked with them over 20 years - Each job ( whether big or small) has been met by them with excellence. Rafaels work, customer service can't be beat. They care about every detail and really care that their end product is perfect and just as important, they care that their customers are happy. I highly highly recommend Rafael Interiors- I wish everyone I worked with had such a high standard for excellence!!
Joey helped us pick put the motorized shades for our whole New Jersey Summer home. It cam out gorgeous and was even featured in Design Nj magazine! Great personalized service, great prices and great design . Cant wait to go back and start decorating my new Manhattan Apartment!
The Matouk bedding and bath towels are incomparable. So soft and amazing. Feel likes I’m in a luxury hotel every night. Washes well too!
Gorgeous products, with super helpful staff, and the best part is at a GREAT price for the quality of the products! Will buy ALL of my bedding here from now on!
This shop is horrible. Avoid it. You can buy everything they sell elsewhere without the attitude and terrible service. Owner was rude and unhelpful. Another let down was that the owner and a staff member gave me 2 different quotes - this left me feeling uneasy and that I couldn't trust them. PS: This review is not fake. It's about my personal experience and Rafael's doesn't even care, considering their nasty comment to my review. Their response alone should show you exactly the type of customer service and treatment you are going to get in their shop. Really disgraceful.
Never seen like this !!! Uncommitted company. They were v late in delivering to my temp address in Manhattan and before traveling. The president mr Joey didn't take responsibility to refund me and take package back from the hotel and ignore me for 5 months , also he refused to receive the package back as promised from Ups which I paid for to send shipping label.. I Never recommend any one buy from them.
