Not good for large groups. Good can't out cold or over cooked. Disappointed. Elk burgers were ordered medium rare. What a waste!
Go down to the lower level bar. Start off with the chowder and get the tenderloin topped off with the egg Sunnyside up. Andrew the bartender speaks Spanish fluently.
Great food/drinks, but had a terrible experience with customer service. We asked the host if we needed or should get a table if we were only getting drinks, and he said no, just go to the bar. We ordered at the bar, but there was no seating so we stood and waited until a table opened up. When we got a table and we’re waiting for our drinks, the server very rudely said we needed to order something through wait staff not at the bar. When our drinks were ready, the bartender put them at the bar and yelled across to us that our drinks were ready. We went up to get them and to pay, and then proceeded to get yelled at for standing at the bar. We went back to our table while we were waiting for the rest of our drink order. 15 minutes later, it wasn’t ready so we went back up to inquire and were rudely asked “Do you have a reservation?”. Very unaccommodating and unfriendly. Felt like they didn’t want us there. Very disappointing for such a nice restaurant in a beautiful location.
This was a very unique experience. My husband and I loved every minute of it from the gondola ride at sunset to the sleigh ride over to the restaurant. The views were beautiful! Every course of the dinner was delicious! Our host Zack was very personable and helped to make our night very fun! This is a must do when visiting Steamboat!
Great service for a quick beer on the outdoor yurt during a heavy, and cold, snowfall. Amazing powder and fun atmosphere. Loved the beer tap collection - all locals.
The food was good if you like lukewarm food. We waited for 40 minutes. Then got a table then ignored. We finally got the cup of soup we ordered 1 hour before. Then I complained to the manager . Finally got the food that was Luke warm. NEVER going back to this fine dinning establishment.
My ski party was hit with a winter squall that had 50 mph winds and snow. The kids and some adults were a little overwhelmed. So we headed into the on-mountain lodge. We didn't have reservations but Ragnar's fit us in. The service was great, the food was very good, and the hot chocolate was superb. A truly wonderful mountain lodge experience.
