Do not eat there. The sanitation score does not reflect the cleanliness of the store. I worked there one night and swept under a few of the machines and needless to say some of the trash moved very quickly (roaches). Not sure when they got that grade but don't think they will score above 80 if graded today. Also don't drink the water from the bottles they bring out in the beginning. They don't wash them before just topping them off at night. Dishwasher just throws dirty water on all the dishes and servers have to wipe them off such as the glasses you have on your table. When training they have the trainees pick food off of peoples plates before leaving the kitchen. The walk in is nothing more than cross contamination of the chicken, beef, octopus. BE CAREFUL

This place is, or should I say, WAS my dads favorite place to eat. We just went there for his birthday, along with some of his friends and we were not impressed. My food was fine, but I can't speak for the others. One of us ordered salmon, which came out raw in the center and the server spent a few moments arguing about it. Another one in our party got her food about 5 minutes after everyone else and it was cold when it reached the table. Not to mention they surprised us with an extra charge to have small plates for the cake we brought. Many of the servers came off rude and annoyed. We did have one waitress, who's name I can't remember, but she was wonderful. I understand being in the food industry and dealing with customers is hard at times, I've worked in it myself. And I also understand that typically the guest is right and you don't argue with them. Needless to say, not impressed and won't be going back.

I first went to eat in May, with my wife, son and future daughter-in-Law. We have been back, twice, because we enjoyed the food and service so much. We are taking friends out tomorrow night. The food is excellent, the service is good. Because it is busy, I called for a reservation tomorrow evening. I was told they don't take reservations, but we can call 30-45 minutes in advance and they will have a table prepared. If you lived in New Orleans, this is more than acceptable. By the way, this establishment is very clean.

My husband and I have been regulars at this location since it opened, but that ended last night. The food is great, so I have no complaints on that topic. Where I take issue is that they are constantly taking my favorites off the menu and the staff turnover is a glaring problem. Clearly there's a leadership/management issue- we've heard on multiple occasions that the owners are very difficult and abrasive to both customers and their staff. The new manager spent his Friday evening walking around in circles- not visiting tables, mind you. Just walking around. The restaurant was very quite for a Friday night, yet the new manager made no effort to come over to introduce himself to us or ask how our meal was-nothing. The restaurant is clearly losing customers as they incrementally limit their menu offerings. Perhaps repairing the pizza over would be a good start to a comeback. Guaranteed they'll close this location before the year is up.

Great atmosphere, food is creative and interesting. There's something for everyone: everything from salads and soups to pasta dishes, lasagna and other entrees. Our server was great and had a fun sense of humor. We'll be coming back, for sure.

We just had an amazing dinner at Serena! The food was perfect. I had the Salmon with the East Harlem Sauce and my husband had the chicken parm. What made the experience perfect was our service from John. He has waited on us twice at the bar now and we couldn't ask for better. He has an amazing memory! Everything quick and great recommendations as far as food. Just wish the bar was open during the week and that John was here every night.

Bravo! The real deal for you food snobs out there (I am a charter member). These folks get it and they know how to deliver the classic Sicilian experience. They have DONE their homework, lined up the right personnel and quietly done an outstanding job of educating poorly formed palates in the art of fine Italian dinning... and at a price that is a steal of a deal. I almost hesitate rating them for fear they will become too popular and getting a reservation will be next to impossible. Until then, I plan to dine there often and enjoy it.

Wow, what a huge variety of food on the menu! The Octopus appetizer is delicious and so is the Vodka Sauce Gnocchi. Their salads are fresh and large. Service is excellent even on the day when the air conditioner broke down! Very family oriented and newly renovated. Also, the Focaccia is excellent.
