Had the pleasure of playing this course today and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Len the Marshall at the entrance to the course was a really great guy! Dan D was really awesome! He made the experience well worth it. He explained the golf course to us before playing and some history about it. We didn’t know that the golf course was built in 1924. It was absolutely beautiful and one of the top 5 LA County Courses. We were paired up with a single and we ended up becoming friends with him by the first few holes. We are looking forward to playing with him in the future! Thank you Rec Park Golf Course 18 Crew!

The convenience of this course in proximity to my apartment ranks it high on one list, bit I have been to several other municipal courses in California that were much better kept. The girls working in the pro shop obviously did not care at all about golf or customer service. The driving range and sand traps were in pitiful condition and the equipment on-site was very worn out. The golf course itself seemed decent and many people were out playing, but curb appeal is important in golfing. I will continue to use the course because I can practically walk there, but I hope the parks and recreation department can budget a little bit of money to upgrade some of the facilities there. A few upgrades and some staff that actually like golf will earn the place a 5 star review in the future.

Great to see brand new cart's they were needed, green's we're in very good condition, tee boxes and fairways I hope will be ready to improve by May.
