When my fiancé and I arrived in Red River, Red River Offroad was one of the first companies recommended to us. We checked it out and decided to do a private tour with Gary, the owner and driver. The snow wasn't deep enough for us to take a snow cat out, so we took one of his jeeps instead. Gary is extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided several interesting tidbits throughout the trip. As we made our way up the mountain, Gary would stop and tell us things an average person would not know about Red River. We visited a beautiful little area near the top of the trail and made our way up to see a 125-year-old cabin and an abandoned mine. Gary is dog friendly, so of course we took our pup with us as well. Overall, Gary is an extremely knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. I would highly recommend taking this trip if you are looking for something interesting to do while also taking in some of the beautiful parts of Red River.

Awesome tour. Beautiful scenery, tons of photo ops. Gary was friendly and funny. A ton of history related to mining. Must do when in red river,nm.
Highly recommend!! Gary was a fantastic guide! We loved learning about some history about mining! He made it experience incredible! He was great with my 12 year old daughter, as the both, share a love for rocks. Never a quiet or dull moment. The scenery was nothing short of incredible! Thanks for the memories gary The kysars
Fantastic!! My group (3 generations) had a wonderful time. Gary was a great guide and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!!
We highly recommend this Jeep tour. Gary was very knowledgeable and the ride was very entertaining. We took the tour in early August and the weather was perfect. We took several young children and they really enjoyed the 3 hour ride. By the way Gary Nathan looked it up and the Aspen tree is a member of the Willow family. Thanks for the great experience!
