It's clean and orderly. People are super friendly. I feel really safe leaving my bike locked out front as well. I wish someone asked whether or not I would want to have a scribe and a trainee physician to accompany the person I am trying to see. That seems to stand out as something that I feel requires my expressed permission.

Amazing front desk people! Kelly is exceptional and the MA Joshua was wonderful. Then I was seen by NP Pam, who was awesome as well, but not having seen an injury as bad as mine, she was humble enough to ask Dr Evan’s to assist, and they were all just so doggone great! Thank you!

Everyone was so warm from the woman taking temperatures as you walked in, to the front desk, the records desk. Urgent Care was awesome. Kelly and Katie got things lined up from what was missing to setting up prescription card. I could not be happier. Dr. Massatt and her assistant top shelf. Everyone was very kind and helpful and the doctor was wonderful. The only negative was that I had to wait about an hour and a half to be seen, and there were only a couple people in the waiting room with me who were seen rather quickly. Good thing I wasn’t in a particular hurry!

I have had an excellent experience with Shasta Community Health Center. Each staff person has treated me with friendly, and courteous service. I know from years of experience not all medical providers deserve great reviews. I was quite fortunate in receiving the Doctor that I have. He listens to my concerns patiently, and treats me with dignity. My Doctor is thorough in all referrals, and never belittles my concerns. Before coming to Shasta County I had Kaiser Permanente coverage. I can honestly say that that the medical "treatment" on every level has been superior at this small Community clinic. Wait times for specialists can be lengthy, but other than that I am more comfortable here than with Kaiser.

I know a lot of people say they are great, but that was not my experience. I had gone to a doctor in private practice for over 10 years, but he retired so I tried Shasta Community. They had all my records sent over and saw me, but would not refill any of my medications. The only pain medication I took was Ibuprofen and others were inhalers, nitro, something for GERD and mood. So, if you don't want to take any medications, go to Shasta Community, it's that easy. Yeah, I'll find somebody else.
